Procedure of appeal to decisions or inactivity of information manager

According to the Law "About the access to public information" the request for information shall be answered during 5 working days of receipt of request, at the latest. If request relates to significant amount of information or requires search of information among considerable amount of data the term of processing request may be extended to 20 working days with substantiation of such extension.

According to Art. 23 of the Law "About the access to public information" the decision, actions or inactivity of information managers may be appealed to the head of information manager, superior body or court.

Decisions, actions or inactivity of information managers may be appealed to the court according to the Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine.
